Debate!

Today, we had a debate. It was about the book Ghost Hawk. We were trying to figure out Little Hawk's best describing character traits. There were two teams: Team Helpful and Forgiving and Team Brave and Courageous. In the end, I think that both teams were tied. Our group had a good starting argument. We said that Little Hawk was courageous when he sacrificed his life for John and his father. But then, John’s group came back at us with the rebuttal. When we said that Little Hawk was courageous enough to walk into his grandmother’s house, risking the plague, they came back with saying he was more helpful since he helped his grandmother survive by giving her food. So, I think that our teams had really good arguments, but can’t we just say he’s brave, courageous, helpful, and forgiving (or all four)?
