Sense of Direction

So, on our trip to Florida and back, a reign of terror began.
What happened?
In Tennessee, my mom said she had a good sense of direction.
Moments later, she turned out to jinx herself and be wrong.
She took a wrong turn 3 times from Tennessee to Georgia, taking about 2 hours of our time away from getting there.
In Georgia, she went north instead of south when she got off an exit.
She said she was distracted by a stray kitten.
We had to get off another exit and back on the right side of the freeway.
In Florida, she took about 30-55 wrong turns everywhere she walked.
On the way back to Michigan, she took 4 more wrong turns.
Thus, the terror finally ended.
Way to go, mom.
