IDK

On December 19th, 5 students (including me) brought the Helping the Homeless project to BCS. Through announcements and advertisements, we collected diapers, baby food and wipes to give to homeless mothers in Oakland County that are in need of supplies for their children through the Lighthouse program. I started this. I got the idea from how everyday I would always see a homeless person. One time in McDonald’s, a woman asked us if we could help her get breakfast. One of the questions asked was, “What is your opinion on the Lighthouse project?” Our interviewee, Ty K., responded, “We saw a problem with mothers not being able to supply their infant children with the necessary sanitary products, such as diapers and wet-wipes.”  Another question that we asked was, “What do you think could be another opinion on your Lighthouse project?” We asked Hanna D. what her opinion was. She, “thought it was a good idea.” We also had a question, “Why is this homeless organization called ‘Lighthouse’?”
